What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That would be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
