TabTrade - What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
